This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional company as a Financial Manager located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role you will perform a variety of functions in support of the Sr. VP Finance and Accounting department. This is a Finance/Accounting hybrid role responsible for financial analysis of existing companies, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, journal entries and account reconciliation. This position is also responsible for process improvements and financial reporting of business information used to support management decisions. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field. CPA/MBA desired. Eight plus years of accounting experience is required or 5 years experience with CPA/MBA. Experience in public accounting a plus. Three-five years experience working with challenging projects analyzing financial data and interpreting results. Experience with accounting systems and expertise in creating financial reports required. Experience working in a multiple company/ entity environment. Familiarity with tax law and experience with income tax preparation and planning for profit and non-profit entities desired. Additional qualifications for this position include database proficiency and outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, including demonstrated presentation skills, effective interpersonal and team skills, and effective project management skills. Must be able to work independently and use own judgment/discretion. Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft suite of software. Ability to work with and understand a variety of people who have different needs and different levels of understanding of our business. Proven ability to influence and build effective working relationships with customers, peers, stakeholders, and community officials in order to ensure quality and timely delivery of energy. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional company as a Mechanical Engineer located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role you will provide technical assistance to district heating and cooling customers, provide technical support to marketing and sales to prospective customers, communicate and represent customer interests and concerns in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the district heating and cooling systems. You will oversee customer building conversion process in the areas of design and design review, bidding, construction oversight and coordination, and startup/commissioning. Qualifications for this position include a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in analysis, design, testing, and operation of HVAC and energy systems. Supervisory and district energy experience is a plus. P.E. registration is preferred. Must have strong customer service and teamwork skills, broad technical knowledge concerning energy efficiency and design and operation of building heating and cooling (HVAC) systems, the ability to respond to customer problems in a creative and cost effective manner, strong oral and written communication skills, strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
