District Energy St. Paul, an Ever-Green Energy affiliate, was a proud sponsor of the 43rd Annual Nobel Conference hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota, on October 2-3, 2007.

This year's topic, "Heating Up: The Energy Debate," examined the economical, environmental and political issues associated with global warming. Renowned energy and resource experts from all over the United States presented the pros and cons of proposed alternative forms of energy that are less threatening to the environment. The conference closed with a banquet and an eyewitness account by Will Steger about the worldwide effects of global warming.

More than 6,500 people attended the two-day event.
