Environmental Wood Supply
Environmental Wood Supply (EWS), co-owned by Ever-Green Energy and Duke Energy Generation Services, provides fuel in the form of wood waste to Saint Paul's combined heat and power (CHP) plant. Tree trimmings, clean industrial and construction debris, and storm-damaged trees are processed on-site to the exact specifications required by the CHP plant's wood-fired boiler. On average, 50 truckloads of wood waste are delivered to the CHP plant every day.
