Madalyn Johnson named Finance & Commerce Rising Young Professional

Madalyn Johnson, Ever-Green Energy’s Marketing and Communications Manager, has been named a 2025 Rising Young Professional by Finance & Commerce. This award recognizes early-career professionals who “are redefining leadership through hard work, creativity, and a commitment to excellence” in Minnesota’s business community.
Since joining Ever-Green Energy in 2021, Madalyn has not only upheld but elevated the standard for customer relations, service and education across a growing portfolio of clients. In the past year, Madalyn has stepped into a larger role to expand Ever-Green’s focus on customer care strategy. She is a key leader in utility marketing, communications and customer care, gaining the trust of the teams and clients at CoolCo, Energy Park Utility Company, University of Minnesota, City of Duluth, and District Energy St. Paul. Her keen marketing instincts and big-picture perspective have strengthened Ever-Green’s work at operations in Sunnyvale, California, and the Lansing Board of Water & Light in Michigan.
Madalyn’s impact is seen throughout the organization, particularly in its external initiatives and customer-facing materials, including new websites, customer survey programs, enhanced sales materials, customer engagement events, and educational seminars for operating engineers in Saint Paul and Duluth.
Fundamentally, Madalyn is a champion of keeping people at the center of Ever-Green’s work, and is recognized across our portfolio of clients as a go-to resource. She strives to find creative, clear and accessible ways to help customers understand their environmental impact and how they get their energy. Her contributions will continue to shape how utilities communicate and care for their customers in the years to come.
