Ever-Green Energy Operations Earn Minnesota Safety Council Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards

Ever-Green strives for a positive safety culture and adherence to the highest safety standards for its employees and those engaged in the company’s work. When advancing and operating energy systems, we know that safety does not occur by chance but is the result of careful attention to the work performed by all those involved.
Two Ever-Green operations, Duluth Energy Systems and Energy Park Utility Company, were recognized for excellence in workplace safety and health during the 2026 Minnesota Safety and Health Conference. Ever-Green is among 300+ employers to be honored through the awards program, coordinated by the Minnesota Safety Council.
In recognition of excellence in occupational injury prevention throughout 2025, Duluth Energy Systems received a Gold Achievement Award for an incidence rate better than the 75th percentile of both the state and national average, and Energy Park Utility Company received a Diamond Achievement Award for an incidence rate better than the 97th percentile.
Since 1934, the annual Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards program has honored Minnesota employers with exceptional safety performance. Applicants are judged on several years of injury data as it compares with their industry’s national and state statistics, and on their progress in implementing a comprehensive safety program.
These results are a credit to all the operational leadership at Duluth Energy Systems and Energy Park Utility Company for supporting their teams while driving a strong safety culture at these facilities, and all team members at these sites for their adherence to these standards every day.
