
Karly Baraga Werner joins Ever-Green Energy as Senior Vice President for External Affairs

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Ever-Green Energy today announced that Karly Baraga Werner will join its team as senior vice president of external affairs and chief legal officer. Based in Saint Paul, Ever-Green Energy works across sectors to advance and operate energy systems with a deep commitment to financial and environmental stewardship.
Baraga Werner has more than two decades of experience and will help Ever-Green Energy navigate the increasingly complex energy policy landscape, while supporting the organization’s external engagement as it continues to grow. Her work will be dedicated to refining regulatory strategy and policy, government relations, community impact and stakeholder engagement, while working alongside the rest of Ever-Green Energy’s senior leaders to advance the organization. She begins the new role on March 9.

Baraga Werner previously served as vice president of external affairs for the Midwest region at Comcast, leading the organization’s efforts in community impact, government affairs and communications across multiple states. Her experience is multifaceted, including experience in negotiating municipal franchise agreements, influencing policy outcomes and securing federal subsidies. Baraga Werner is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and spent a decade in private practice. She is also deeply engaged in governance and board leadership, serving as chair for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as a board member for the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, both of which allow her to support government engagement, policy advancement and advocacy strategies.
